Meet Your Clinician
Elizabeth Clark, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC
Founder, Clinician, and Author
Elizabeth is a board certified family nurse practitioner with nine years of experience as an NP and a background in critical care nursing. She is the author of Practical Management of POTS and Related Dysautonomia, a clinical guide focused on practical, patient-centered care. She has practiced for 4 years with the Johns Hopkins POTS clinic, managing patients with POTS and complex dysautonomia.
Her clinical focus includes comprehensive autonomic assessment, individualized treatment planning, and longitudinal management of POTS and related autonomic disorders. She brings experience in family medicine, wound care, and academic nursing education to her practice.
Elizabeth earned her BSN from Penn State University and her MSN at Youngstown State University while working at the ICU and raising her 3 children.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Elizabeth lives with POTS herself. Her status as a patient and as a provider gives her a unique perspective and she is able to empathize with her patients as well as treat them.
This is a private practice which means we are not bound by large corporate systems. Elizabeth understands each case is different and she takes the time to listen and understand each patient’s needs and concerns. She also understands every treatment is different and she tailors her treatment to each patient’s individual needs.
When advanced multidisciplinary care is needed, Elizabeth coordinates referrals to specialty providers such as cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, rheumatology, gastroenterology and other specialties as appropriate. She is committed to providing the best possible care.
